Highlights of Singapore’s Biggest Tech Event of 2017
After an amazing week at the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition. Triplex Studios continued the month of September by producing the second edition of SWITCH Singapore 2017.
Held between 18 – 20 September 2017, the largest tech event of the year kickoff with an opening ceremony, followed by a global panel discussion with speakers like Mike Descheneaux, President, Silicon Valley Bank; William Bao Bean, General Partner, SOSV; Taizo Son, CEO, Mistletoe; and Ben Goertzel, Chief Scientist, Hanson Robotics.
SWITCH brought together partners from around the world in the technology, innovation and enterprise ecosystem. This project attracted over 10,000 participants and inspired Triplex Studios to create unconventional ideas to fit SWITCH’s theme of “Founding a New World”. By using projection mapping on a circular dome-shaped stage backdrop, the objective was achieved.
The specially calibrated lighting used during the convention redefined the usual tech innovation conventions. Customized booths and structures illustrated the minimal, futuristic feel that SWITCH is all about.
Over three days, SWITCH also played host to conferences like Slush Singapore; TechInnovation; Women in Tech (Asia); Campus Party; and VentureCon. Triplex Studios is proud to be part of SWITCH, the tech convention that helps drives the innovation ecosystem in Singapore and moves it towards a Smart Nation.
